Haven’t captured a group shot of everybody in a while, so while speaking of growing spinach look at what else we’ve grown! 😉
Lots of time and investment goes into growing these, but the rewards for doing so will last lifetimes.
Naturally, there’s no containing a toddler. :p
So we made the mistake of planting the spinach in between the beans and the beans (two different varieties).
They didn’t grow a lot because of it (the beans grew tall and blocked the sun).
We did get enough that Redflare made me an awesome sandwich for after I was done mowing the lawn though.
An extremely satisfying sandwich knowing that part of the ingredients were grown right in my backyard.
I must be doing something right…
This was the card that Superman made for me for Father’s Day.
With a photobomb by Superman.
Now, all my kids have large heads. It’s genetic.
You can still slightly take this as a size comparison though. They were still, at three weeks, fitting easily in my hands but finally with some girth to them. Then? I could easily fit two in my hands.
There was just too much cute in that last post to contain even more cute, so here’s more shots of the kittens at about a week old.
So it’s my mom’s birthday today. What better way than to shower her with pictures of kittens? Right? 😀
All of these pictures are of them at about a week old.
Release the kittens!
So while my reaction to another WoW expansion is a bit low Nintendo raises my hopes in gaming by delivering unto us a wonderful trailer of nostalgia.
I really look forward to the levels my children subject me to and that I in turn get to torture them with.
<insert evil cackle here>
So I’ve used this picture a few times since making it, but no better time to use it than the first family birthday to show up.
So happy birthday Mom!
One of the awesome things about this house is this catalpa tree.
We especially appreciate it when it’s in full bloom and carpeting the yard in its blossoms.
Here’s a closeup of the blossoms themselves.
Now Little Miss tells me this picture is “the day after” the previous picture of her and a kitten, so logically, let’s schedule this one for the next morning after. 🙂
I’m thankful for the pictures, because this little girl’s joy is hard to put into words.
