You don’t have to wait anymore!
Thunderer enjoys waiting at the bus stop for her siblings. Depending on the time she gets to run around and try to get into mischief.

We’re still very much cat noobs.
We took Thunder in to a vet who was clearly more comfortable around animals than people, but I think that’s probably a good thing.
It helps Thunder move from being a stray to a little guy who has all his shots, has no more ear mites, and can better integrate into our family now that he’s been checked out.
So a thank you to the vet who didn’t mind us taking a picture of him holding Thunder and here’s our official welcoming Thunderer into the family.

There were storms near the beginning of the school year that helped rearrange the vegetation at the park.
TJ attempted to wield a fallen branch but the wind made it a bit tougher to manage than he had expected.

How about something else I’m thankful for: being able to support Newbie’s hobbies/passions as they come and go.
She has learned how to make paper airplanes.
We now have a fleet of future scrap paper.

We’ll return to our other cats shortly folks, don’t worry. 🙂
9/13/16 is the day we caught Thunder. Redflare is cuddling him here. Very scared, very clingy. He basically imprinted on her, seeing her as the savior from the scary metal trap.
Meanwhile, that same night, I think he decided I would be an acceptable perch. 😉

For those who are unfamiliar with the World of Darkness and role-playing in general, I hope you enjoy this simply as a story.
For those of you who are familiar with World of Darkness, this takes place in the current PBEM (play-by-email) game taking place in Pheonix. I’m part of a long running (10+ years!) game based in yahoo groups.
You can find more information about the game here: phoenixrisingrpg.com
General World of Darkness information can be found on a previous post where I wrote about it here.
So, without further adue, here is my Mage Phoenix character on a Seeking, questing for Arete rank 5.
So, Thunderer, now that all your siblings are off to school, what will you do now?
“Get into everything!”

It really is amazing that we live in an age that a service like degustabox exists.
What is this service? You’ve never heard of it?
Well, it’s a monthly food subscription service.
What’s above is what came in our first box.
I’m thankful that we have the funds to be able to subscribe to something like this.
I’m thankful that my children are excitedly thankful when it arrives, ready to explore new foods and give them a try.
We are blessed with a time that we don’t have to worry what goes into our little ones’ stomachs the next night. They don’t go to bed crying and wanting for more.
That is what I’m thankful for this year as we sit down to enjoy our turkey.
So happy Thanksgiving everybody.

The next day the weather was dryer and brought the first day of school for the little two.
Yeah, Newbie wasn’t excited at all, was she?
While the picture yesterday showed a sad Newbie in the window, the time after school was joyous.
As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday this year one thing to say that I am most definitely thankful for is their positive relationship.
The littles love and adore their older siblings, and the older siblings wear the weight of that responsibility extremely well.
CHARGE!
And now TJ’s bus gets home, so it’s time to charge again!
