Fall’s Arrival

We finally got a nice fall day after the pumpkin patch in late October. It was cool but not cold so it was time to get out to the park again!

The wind was kind enough to gather up a bunch of leaves too, so the kids enjoyed playing in those.

Halloween Supplies

It’s tradition now that we go out to the local pumpkin patch and let the kids pick out their pumpkins.

It’s also tradition to be sure to grab a picture of everybody on top of a haybale while we’re there.

We also decided to catch a picture of ourselves. A nice way to update our fall facebook profile picture.

Once everything was picked out it was time to play a little bit before heading back. The teens decided to have a contest and see who could reach the farthers up a halbale after a running start.

It didn’t end as was expected.

Meanwhile, Newbie was quite fearful of the prospects of Thunderer driving…

Cold Play

I remember this October day pretty well. It was a lot colder than expected so we didn’t stay out long at all, even though they were bundled.

The swings didn’t provide enough shelter to the wind so they went to the other equipment.

Any outside time is better than none though.

Especially if these kinds of smiles are the reward.
