And before we cut to after the trick-or-treating we may as well get them to all pose together for a group shot.

This last year I recycled an older costume because why not? I can still get in on the action but this way, not spending an arm and a leg.
Thunderer stepped in and wanted to join on a pose too.

TJ and his girlfriend coordinated their costumes this last year quite nicely I’d say.

Time to prepare for the winter… soldier.
What you can’t see, because she’s wearing gloves as the evening starts to cool, is that she is wearing a winter soldier sleeve to make one arm look like his prosthetic as well.

And then there were three:
Oddly Newbie appears to have snuck past without getting a solo shot. My assumption is that they got tired of us taking pictures and the end result was us hurrying with this shot instead.
If you’re unfamiliar with Newbie’s costume, she’s Amity Blight from the Disney show Owl House.
We’d originally ordered her costume. In fact, her’s was the first costume we ordered. Thanks to supply chain issues though, it simply never arrived. Fortunately Snow/Little Miss stepped in and helped craft some pieces for Newbie to still pull off the look while she made the staff herself.

Superman’s costume came with a built-in mask. That works!

Thunderer went for a straightforward “pink cat” costume this year.
It worked quite nicely with her fall jacket, so that works.

We’re getting there! Halloween pictures are a go!
If you can’t tell, Superman is Thanos, I’m Gandalf, TJ is Spiderman, Newbie is a sloth, Little Miss is a dark fairy/angel, and Thunderer is a “puppy” (Scooby Doo was the only way we could pull that one off.)
TJ went and coordinated costumes with his girlfriend too. She went as Silk.

Yes, nothing makes it glaringingly more obvious that I’m behind on picture posting than putting a random Halloween post in the middle of nowhere on the calendar.
Well, it’s here anyway.
Redflare’s camera was still out of commission at this time, so we didn’t get as many pictures as we’d normally take for the holiday.
TJ did get a nice close up of himself in his Batman mask though.
Meanwhile, I’m a lumberjack and I’m okay.
Superman went as Black Panther, Little Miss was Robin Hood, while Newbie was a fancy cat riding a unicorn and Thunderer was a fancy cat.
We clearly guide but don’t force much for the holiday, that’s for sure.
Yes, by the way, TJ assembled that Batman costume by himself. Batman t-shirt, black jeans, that sort of thing. Didn’t want to go for the whole muscle costume off the rack thing. I think it served him quite well.
They had a lot of fun, and scored a good amount of candy.
