The title and the picture really speak for themselves.
A boy and his guitar.
Music calms this savage beast.

I didn’t record this one, just a bit too much action going on, but we were sure to find Newbie in the sea of Kindergarteners (on the right).
Superman even had a speaking part! He did a good job speaking clearly and confidently.
He was clearly a little nervous about it.

Summer has come and passed
the innocent can never last
wake me up when November ends
Like my Obama’s come to pass
eight years has gone so fast
wake me up when November ends
Here come the ads again
Falling from the Stars
Drenched in the lies again
Faking who they are
As my memory rests
but never forgets what I lost
wake me up when November ends
Summer has come and passed
the innocent can never last
wake me up when November ends
Ring out the polls again
like we did when fall began
wake me up when November ends
Here comes the ads again
Falling from the Stars
drenched in the lies again
faking who they are
As my memory rests
but never forgets what I lost
wake me up when November ends
Summer has come and passed

wake me up when November ends
Like my Obamas come to pass
eight years has gone so fast
wake me up when november ends
wake me up when november ends
wake me up when november ends
One of the new attractions to the zoo this year is a larger play area where the meercats used to be.
Not sure how I feel about the meercat displacement, but Newbie seemed to approve of the Xylophone and other playground items that have now appeared.
There’s a lot of fun new stuff to explore at this playground area. I look forward to taking them back there.

While TJ was doing homework and listening to music Thunderer walked up and demanded to know what he was doing.
He took a moment to patiently share exactly what he was listening to, and while he didn’t really want his picture taken, he put up with it.
Though he is going to guide her curious hands away from the equipment and keep her from trying to run off with it and pull the laptop with her.

No longer concerned that she’s going to get in trouble for “playing” on the piano the gentle fingers caressed the keys without concern.

She’s ready to go at a local nursing home to share her holiday dance practice recital.
We got to enjoy from the balcony as she strutted her stuff.

Have to start them young, right?
As long as she’s not beating on the keys, there’s no reason to not let her try.

So every year the band has a fundraiser in the local Barnes & Noble. Part of the trip is a contest to have the most gaudy Christmas themed attire you can show up with.
Little Miss did her best to accomplish that one.
I think TJ would have gathered been anywhere else.
Newbie sharing a song praising super heroes… which includes her daddy. 😀
