Not sure why this picture from his birthday is out of order, but looking at him study his gifts is priceless.
Behold my newly (in March) one year old, as we present to you, your birthday cake!
I love how intensely he watches me come out with the cake.
He very much wanted to just reach out and touch the candle, so Redflare naturally helped him blow it out.
Oddly he wasn’t overly interested in the traditional cake ‘baby slap’ once the candle was removed. He looked around at the rest of us with a ‘okay, now what’ expression on his face.
Eventually he did gently pat the cake and we dug in, but it’s interesting to watch how his gentle personality grows.
Newbie now joins us on the Switch as of this birthday, so of course it’s time to put her on the road with a family favorite: Need for Speed.
And again, I’m not sure why she’s showing up after those other birthdays when she turned 18 before they leveled up, but here we are, the eldest daughter, my first baby girl, now 18… last January.
And here’s where I was talking about how some of the pictures sometimes get jumbled. We’ll roll from Newbie’s birthday forward to Fireball’s.
She was interested, but not super excited about the books…
But the ball set…
The ball set she loved.
I think this is going to be another case of birthdays mixing together just a little bit for some reason accidentally.
Here she’s enjoying blowing out her candles while in the warm new frog thingy she also got.
Trying to catch a good picture of a toddler turning two is, well, a challenge.
Little Miss turned 18 this year. In January, but yeah, we’re celebrating on the blog in July because pictures get a first come first serve posting.
Books, comics, movies, and games, not to mention the plushes. Now two of my younglings are officially ‘adults’.
It’s hard to believe Thunderer is now (over) 8 years old.
Her birthday went really well for her, I think, but the focus was on her rather than taking a lot of pictures it seems.
We did get a great one of her with her cake, though.
I know there’s a cat, but I’m making the executive decision that because it’s from Thunderer’s birthday Lady Grey gets a special cameo marker rather than the starring role for this one.
Newbie isn’t sad, by the way, just tired.
