Little Miss’ egg creations from Easter are always very carefully created. This year was no eggception. She definitely ensured the line stayed perfect on this one.

Part of the Easter tradition is getting some new sidewalk chalk. Newbie and Superman each left a love note for Redflare on the driveway.
Thunderer seems to have missed the “one egg” memo, but given that she’s the smallest, we let it slide.
She may have been “helping” Little Miss carry her egg too.

Newbie gave Thunderer a “helpful” shove under the bush to go after one of the eggs.

She has one, and she’s clearly seen another that she’s ready to grab as soon as she turns in the egg she currently has.

Even the eldest teenager got into hunting for eggs. He was genuinely smiling at Redflare when she aimed the camera, but then the sun got in his eyes. :p
We’ll get a good picture of him eventually.

That feeling when you know exactly where an egg is, but you’re just too short.

So where is that “central basket” that I mentioned?
Well, yours truly has it safe in hand.

One trick we use to ensure everybody has a slightly better chance to find eggs is that they can only run one egg back to the basket, and we keep the basket in a central spot in whichever part of the yard they happen to be hunting in.
For whatever reason the teenagers aren’t doing a lot of running, so that lets the littles get a bit of balance to their hunting.
