I was going to review the iTunes update as I’ve seen a lot of discussion on twitter (and at home) about it… but I think this sums up the feelings quite nicely.
Personally I like it. After Redflare gave me a more expansive stance on it though I can certainly understand her point. It takes the iTunes formula we all know and love and tosses it out the window. In its place we get that Windows 8/iOS feel to the program that really has no place in a desktop environment.
We’ll all survive, of course, but Apple made a mistake when they flipped this switch without any kind of “classic” theme option.
