Nov ’22: The Thanksgiving

Hard to not think about Thanksgiving in any year without also thinking about food. The corn casseroles, all ready to go in the oven. We’re hosting a big group, so need to be prepared!

Oct ’22: Do the Marios!

At this point I can’t recall why I only took Potato with me when trick or treating. I think it was because it was his first Halloween at home and Fireball was feeling cranky and tired.

But since I couldn’t find the traditional ‘baby’s first Halloween’ pumpkin costume I put on my Mario costume from the closet and then grabbed a smaller Mario hat so he could be baby Mario. A very satisfying Mario Kart reference or Yoshi’s Island reference if I do say so myself.

It was time to take advantage of the good fall weather before it starts getting too cold.

Looking at these now. I’m pretty sure he kept doing it because he realized it made me smile.

And smile I did at the adorable play.

I got to cuddle the baby boy to sleep finally since their return.

A day or two later it would happen again, but I’d also have a chance to cuddle the Fireball too.

With everyone home, it was time to pick up some supplies for the returned babies, so of course we made a trip to Walmart where Superan happily posed with Potato while I was checking out.

October ’22: Home Again

Yes, I’m getting really behind on these picture things again.

I’m trying.

Hindsight makes the current wave of pictures hard to post, which is why I’ve been putting it off, but we’ll get past hindsight eventually and I’ll full talk about everything.

What matters is that back in October of 2022 Redflare had returned home and I got to cuddle Fireball and Potato again.
